Love gypsy jazz? Want to learn to play with others?

Join in on this live performance workshop as Tracy coaches students on ensemble playing. This class focuses on playing music together! Students will get instruction tips and advice, try out ensemble concepts and then they will perform for others in small combos. Yes, it is super fun!

The repertoire will be popular songs in the gypsy jazz style with various tempos and feels. This allows students to have practice on ballads, medium and fast tempo songs. Also, swing to Gypsy Bossa or Latin styles.

Tracy will discuss everything from intros to endings to rhythm, comping and ensemble playing including arranging and dynamics.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn to play with others. You'll also get some great soloing ideas and some repertoire practicing in the gypsy jazz style.

This is a  3 hour workshop with a 20 minute break.
